A basic principle of the 4-H program is that learning occurs best through direct experience. There are over 60 project areas available, including Dogs, Horses, Livestock, Electricity, Rabbits, Clothing, Knitting, Foods, Leadership, Model Rockets, Poultry, Woodworking, Wildlife, Shooting Sports, Photography, Entomology, and Gardening ( to name a few) where each child can find an area of personal interest.
