The Douglas County Fair and Colorado State University Extension are separate entities. We are thankful for this collaboration which allows 4-H youth the opportunity to exhibit projects in the Youth Department of the Douglas County Fair. For many this educational experience is often the highlight of the 4-H year. Shows provide opportunities for 4-H members to demonstrate new knowledge, abilities, and skills. Douglas County Fair and its programs provide a valuable showcase of learning for the community. CSU Extension staff function in an education leadership role to enhance the educational quality of these experiences.
