The Douglas County 4-H Horse Steering Committee is pleased to offer their annual Douglas County 4-H Buckle Series.

This is an Open Show Series. No Membership, Volunteer Hours, or 4-H Level Required to show. The Colorado 4-H Horse Show Rulebook applies unless otherwise stated.

Highpoint Awards

Series Highpoint – Highpoint Buckles and Reserve Highpoint prizes by discipline

Daily Highpoint – Highpoint and Reserve Highpoint prizes by discipline

Showmanship Series Highpoint – Highpoint and Reserve Prizes (Showmanship points are not included in English or Western Disciplines)

**Highpoint Awards are based upon a single horse/rider combination per discipline.

The Buckle Series

The Douglas County 4-H Open Horse Show Buckle Series is a welcoming, educational, and FUN environment where both 4-H youth and community members alike gain experience working with and showing their horses!

The 2025 Series will offer five shows with daily high points given at the end of each show and overall highpoint awards given out upon completion of the series!
