Supreme Test

Test Night: Wednesday, July 17, 2024 from 4-5:45 p.m. all tests to be completed no later than 6 p.m. in the Multi-Purpose South Barn
Makeup Test Opportunity: Call the Extension Office for an Appointment: 720-733-6940

The Supreme Contest is an optional contest available for market beef, hog, lamb, and goat exhibitors. It is based on four (4) areas of competition in the animal’s species. Each area is worth a maximum of 25% of the total score.

Horse Test

Test Night: Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at 6pm in Indoor Arena (Food *provided by the Horse Steering Committee & Open Ride following Test)
Makeup Test Opportunity: Call the Extension Office for an appointment: 720-733-6940.

The Horse show at the Douglas County Fair & Rodeo has a high point award for English, Western, Gymkhana, and Working Ranch Horse. This is determined by a composite score earned on:
– Written Test
– Showmanship
– Equitation/Horsemanship
– Any other classes the Junior Division Exhibitor is eligible for in the riding discipline

Cat Test

Test Night: Wednesday, July 17, 2024 from 4-5:45 p.m. all tests to be completed no later than 6 p.m. in the Multi-Purpose Barn South.

The cat show at the Douglas County Fair & Rodeo has an overall showman award. This award is determined by the following:
– Showmanship class
– Cage Decoration
– Conformation
– Written Test
