Welcome to the CSU Extension Office in Douglas County. "Extension" means reaching out and extending university research and resources to meet public needs at the community level. Rocket Fly Day!!!   arrow

Rocket Fly Day is held in late June and is an optional contest for all 4-H members registered in the Model Rocketry project. Anyone is welcome to watch. Contestants will launch their rocket twice.

Judging is based on:

Construction

Range Safety

Flight Stability

Parachute Deployment

Landing

The top scorers in each age group advance to Rocket Fly Day at State Fair.
