Cloverbud Program
The 4-H Cloverbud Program is a fun hands-on educational program specially designed for kids ages five through seven. 4-H Cloverbud members participate in learning activities that promote self-confidence, healthy lifestyles, social skills, 4-H project building skills, and just all-around fun.
The Douglas County 4-H Cloverbud Program can help youth develop critical life skills and the basic premise of all 4-H youth programming. This program is an activity-based series that is non-competitive. Cloverbud activities are based on sound child development principles and are developed in conjunction with Colorado State University Extension.
Cloverbud Monthly Activity
Once a month, Douglas County hosts a hands-on project activity for Cloverbuds only! We practice the 4-H Pledge, mimic 4-H meeting procedures, and try a new 4-H project each month. Some projects include cake decorating, woodworking, leathercraft, rocketry, photography, and artistic clothing!
Monthly activities begin in October and continue through May. They are held at 5:30 PM in the basement of the CSU Extension Office in Douglas County. Our address is 410 Fairgrounds Rd, Castle Rock, CO 80104.
Contact Jacie Rex at jacie.rex@colostate.edu or the Douglas County 4-H office by phone at 720-733-6940 for more information on enrolling your Cloverbud today!
